A Walk In Serenity

February 18, 2009 - Heinrich W. Fischer, Principal Landscape Architect at Parrone Engineering, has designed and is assisting with the implementation of a memorial park located in Highland Park for the mentally challenged called DePaul Remember Garden.  This 1,600 square-foot project incorporates unique landscape architectural components including a 450 square-foot circular pre-cast paver terrace/sitting area and an overhead wooded arbor with benches.  This area will overlook an  engraved plaque that is attached to an existing boulder and dedicated to the project.  In addition, asphalt pathways will connect the garden area to the park's walk system and surrounding gardens.  The completion date for DePaul Remember Garden is scheduled for Spring 2009.
