MONROE COUNTY AIRPORT/TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS CENTER

Parrone Engineering teamed with SWBR Architects and M/E Engineering, P.C. for design services of the Monroe County Airport/Transportation Operations Center on Scottsville Road.  This facility houses the County’s Traffic Operations Center, New York State Department of Transportation Garage, New York State Trooper’s Barracks, and Maintenance Operations of the Greater Rochester International Airport.  This project featured a multitude of owners with unique requirements as well as differing security levels.  For example, the Airport Maintenance section had to be completely seperate from the other occupants both internally as well as externally for parking and access to the airport.
