MONROE COMMUNITY COLLEGE WOLK CENTER ADDITION TO BUILDING 9 Monroe County commissioned Parrone Engineering as a design team member to provide design services for the expansion of the College’s Nursing School Program space including the addition of classrooms and lab space. The project included a two-story, 22,500-square-foot addition on the west side of Building 9. Services included topographic mapping, site design, relocation of storm sewers, stormwater detention, sidewalks, maintenance of pedestrian and vehicular traffic movements, and landscape architecture. Modification of the outlet control structure for Pond 1 and installation of a new outlet control structure for Pond 2 was also completed. In addition, the firm administered stormwater pollution prevention plan inspections. This $5 million project will be completed in the summer of 2008.
